Investment Compliance Coding Officer (f/m)

We are searching for a team member (f/m) for our Investment Guideline team, which is part of the Investment Compliance function at AllianzGI GmbH. The position is based in London or Frankfurt.

Our Investment Compliance function covers all investment related compliance topics within AllianzGI’s process chain and stretches across various departments such as Trading, Operations, Client Services, Legal and Portfolio Management. Our team provides pre, post and ex-post investment guideline coding services to our Global Portfolio Management teams.

Additionally, this team more broadly supports the Investments Compliance function in developing reporting and monitoring tools for other Investment Compliance subjects.

As an Investment Compliance Coding Officer, you are part of a cooperative Global Investment Compliance team which works directly with Global Account- and Portfolio Managers in addressing queries and advising on technical and subject matters, and will be responsible for providing effective, efficient, high quality, proactive compliance advise and systems development services that address both business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for Coding regulatory and contractual investment guidelines in our compliance systems (Bloomberg CMGR, MIG21, SQL based proprietary system)
  • You will be in charge for proactively serving and advising our investment professionals on Investment Guideline topics
  • You are analyzing and interpreting regulatory documents and client guidelines
  • You will be working with internal IT and external vendors on technical implementations
  • You will actively be participating in company projects and analyzing the impact on Investment Compliance, proposing solutions and implementing any necessary systems or process changes
  • You will be supporting the development of a global Investment Guideline Compliance function and work in such environment, incl. continuously improving coding principles and guideline standardization

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • You hold a degree in Finance or IT or you have equivalent professional training in these areas (preferably in Asset Management). You will bring thorough knowledge of financial instruments including derivatives and alternative assets. Experience in the area of guideline compliance is a plus.
  • We are seeking for a standout colleague that is able to build positive relationships internally and externally and is able to work in a dynamic and international business environment
  • You have strong self-management skills and you like to take initiative and get things done under tight deadlines
  • We are searching for a personality that is able to solve problems and spot issues actively and has strong oral and written communication skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail will complete the profile.
  • You have sound knowledge of MS Office tools; VBA skills represent an advantage
  • You are fluent in German and English (both orally and in writing)
