To complete the existing ICT at
EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, we are looking for a well experienced full-time
The Key person shall apply the relevant system engineering standards, as well as procedures for:
| · | quality management; |
| · | configuration and change control; |
| · | system operations and maintenance. |
The Key person shall have preferably a University degree in comparable discipline (or equivalent professional experience) together with proven experience as IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer computing environment.
| · | Experience in operation and maintenance of Technical rooms. distribution systems and cooling systems. |
| · | Hand on experience in operating a Network cabling infrastructure (configuration control, patching, media type etc.) |
| · | Working knowledge of and experience in teh installation, operation and maintenance of KVM systems |
| · | Working knowledge of and experience in power distribution and UPS solutîons |
| · | Knowledge of and experience in operation and maintenance of a network infrastructure based on Cisco components. |
| · | Hands on experience in the operation and maintenance of Wireless LAN Infrastructure Infrastructure |
| · | Hands on experience in the operation of network monitoring tools |
The Key person is required to have as a minimum:
In addition, the following aspects shall be considered an advantage:
| · | Hands on experience in using Cisco Works to operate and monitor the network system |
| · | Experience in a structured, ISO 9000 certified project and service environment. |
| · | Knowledge of ITIL and hands on experience in change and configuration management. |
