In Service Engineer - Gas Turbines Repair Engineer (m/f) 

This function as In Service Engineer / Repair Engineer (m/f) is carried out on a reactive basis, in response to worldwide requests from operators and overhaul shops who encounter damage outside of the Engine Manual limits, and on a pro-active basis, programmed work developed in line with the Original Equipment Manufacturer business objectives and customer requirements.

Your tasks

• Development of repair solutions for damage found on engine run components
  
• Identification required repair schemes and maintenance instructions
  
• Modification of existing Engine Manuals and Aircraft Maintenance Manuals
  
• Drafting the schemes and instructions, including getting technical approval from all relevant functional areas of specialization within the OEM
  

Your profile

• Education in Aerospace / Mechanical / Scientific / Business degree or substantial relevant experience
  
• Good understanding of Gas Turbine technology
  
• Understanding of Airworthiness regulations and requirements
  
• Operational experience of Gas Turbines and military or civil aircraft service experience are advantageous
  
• Excellent written, verbal and presentational communication skills
  
• Logical problem solving skills
  
• Meticulous attention to detail
  
• Self-motivated / disciplined
  
• IT – Excel, Access, Office
