We are looking for a Transportation Project Manager (m/f) for our office in Munich
As this is a Germany based position, fluency in German is required.
As a Project Manager (m/f), you will be responsible for defining and implementing a product vision that meets our customer’s needs while satisfying performance and budget goals.
Project Managers prioritize projects and feature sets, evaluate and set stakeholders expectations. This requires interaction with Amazon’s operations team; you will work closely with business analysts to drive the collection and implementation of requirements, ensure alignment with corporate objectives and contractual obligations and manage the lifecycle of various initiatives. You will write and review business cases, perform supporting research and analysis, write specifications, and drive the product development schedule from design to release. Liaising and collaborating with external partners (mainly carriers) will also require negotiation skills. Successful candidates will be excellent communicators, highly motivated and effective within distributed teams.- Candidates must be able to think and act tactically.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, support scope of requirements and prioritize.
- Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position.
- Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality.
- Proven Project Management experience in a related industry.
- A bachelor's degree is required
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- An MBA is preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL is desired.
