Legal Counsel / International (f / m)
Within the Refrigeration Technologies Segment, we are currently looking for an experienced Legal Counsel, who will be based in Bochum, Germany. In this role you will be the first point of contact of the international management team for all legal and contract management matters. Furthermore, you will support international business including sales and procurement contracts and deal with commercial disputes. You will report to the Director Legal Affairs and will be part of the international legal team.
Your tasks
o Preparing and drafting international sales / supply contracts
o Working within the legal team and enhancing communication lines with the locally operating companies
o Contract negotiations
o Handling claims and litigations in different countries
o Support of M&A projects
o Ensuring the quality within the segment’s contract management
Your qualifications
o Law degree and at least 5 years of experience as an in-house lawyer / Legal Counsel with international experience
o Ideally also Master of Laws (LLM) or comparable education Solid knowledge of corporate law and international contract law
o Excellent negotiating and drafting skills in an international environment
o Knowledge of the legal requirements in Claims and Litigation
o Flexible and hands-on, excellent communication and relationship building skills and able to manage a large number of issues simultaneously
o Fluent in English and ideally German, other languages would be a benefit
