Tracker Development Engineer (m/f)
As Tracker Development Engineer you take a key position in the specification, design, engineering, and qualification of CPV trackers. He will work in a team of experienced development engineers focusing on highly reliable and cost effective CPV power plant solutions. He closely collaborates with his counterpart in the procurement department. He supports our customers with engineering services and guides engineering subcontractors.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting development projects
- Writing specifications
- Development of new tracker solutions with a special focus on cost reduction
- Development of relevant qualification and quality measurement processes and equipment
- Assessment of technical alternatives
- Approval of drawings for suppliers
- Support of procurement on suppliers selection and audit
- Technical support for customers and sales
- Reporting the development progress
- Guidance of external engineering support
Qualifications / Profile:
- Graduate degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering
- Experience in a development environment
- Customer service attitude both with regards to external customers and internal colleagues
- Strong analytical skills
- Diligent, systematic yet pragmatic work attitude
- Fluent in English and German
