As a provider of DNA, RNA and protein expression and purification technologies, our company has established a worldwide customer network during the last 5 years. The portfolio contains about 200 products for all major applications being used in life science molecular biology labs. Your responsibilities
- Work independently to serve our distributors and customers in defined sales areas. Implementation of strategy; maintenance and development of existing business growth
- Budget responsibility for a defined territory
- Drive for customer satisfaction and increase competitive advantage by building trust and relationship
- Develop relationship with key customers
- Responsible for the development/ agreement and monitoring of annual sales targets, key performance indicators and revenue forecasts
- Maintain contact with existing customers/distributors as well as develop new contacts in order to achieve or exceed sales objectives. Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities
- Contribute to the development of regional sales and marketing plans
Qualification needed:
- Minimum MSc. degree in biological sciences or equivalent
- Sales/distributors management experience would be an advantage
- Proven experience with diverse techniques such as PCR, real-time PCR, nucleic acid purification, protein expression and –purification
- Proven knowledge of relevant markets, molecular biological topics and products
- Excellent presentation and communication skills at all business levels
- Ability to manage both large autonomy and team work
- Fluent in English plus second European language, preferably French
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
