Senior Infrastructure Engineer (f/m) Microsoft Lync / Frankfurt/Main
Your tasks - to help you progress
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Microsoft Lync (f/m) is responsible for the technical deliverables on all assigned projects.


Essential Functions of the Job / Responsibilities
  • Coordinating the delivery of and/or completing technical deliverables on all assigned projects
  • Producing Infrastructure Engineering deliverables on all projects that meet or exceed established benchmarks for quality and performance in accordance with the project timeline
  • Maintaining effective and consistent communication within the team, across all Infrastructure Service Delivery teams, and with resources in other IT Services groups
  • Providing 4th level support to Operations in the field of expertise
  • Translating detailed Requirements, Design and Solution  Architecture deliverables into detailed design specifications
  • Providing Consultancy expertise and Business Case Estimates
  • Leading or participating in research initiatives

Your profile - to help us progress together

  • A Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Seven years of experience in an IT infrastructure engineering function
  • Deep understanding of technologies in the field of Unified Communications platforms such as Lync 2010, Office Communications Server R2, Sametime or Sametime Unified Telephony
  • Analytical and problem solving skills to manage multiple technical challenges from multiple projects simultaneously
  • Solid interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a contributing member of global technical teams that deliver quality services
  • Strong technical skills designing, documenting, and implementing Infrastructure projects
  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal
