Senior Expert Operations Research (w/m)
Your Tasks
•Development and application of simulation models, algorithms and methods to increase efficiency •Development of tools and procedures for operational and tactical planning and control of operations •Development of performance measurement systems and data models •Development of predictive models to optimize the allocation and efficiency of resources used •Redesign and optimization of the supply chain for future growth •Optimal allocation of existing supply chain resources
Your qualifications
•Master in mathematics, computer science, engineering or economics with a focus on quantitative methods •Several years of experience in operations research, in particular in creating models and algorithms for pricing, bidding, distribution or procurement •Excellent knowledge in formulating discrete and continuous optimization models •Experience in applying quantitative methods to analyze business problems •Experience in applying optimization software like GAMS, GUROBI, CPLEX or XPRESS •Basic knowledge in software engineering •Very good English and good knowledge of German
