Senior Purchasing Controller (m/f)

Your duties:

• Condense data and analytical input into strategic decision papers for the Director Global Purchasing
  
• Ensure management-ready reporting for internal customers for decision making. Generate reports on raw material, supplier and market data (history and forecast) as well as economic data, based on analyst and controller input
  
• Monitor and steer technology-purchasing (buying) teams vs. internal and external benchmarks
  
• Coordinate budget process for purchasing and provide input for budget planning purposes
  
• Provide risk assessment and derive options for volatility management / mitigation actions
  
• Conduct and execute global projects within the purchasing community to ensure improved functional performance
  
• Conduct audits of local purchasing in conjunction with group audit
  
• Lead a team of purchasing controller and analyst

Your profile:

• Successful degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or economic sciences with experience in chemical industry
  
• Several years of international experience in an industrial business
  
• Well-versed in international project management
  
• Fluent English, good skills in German are an advantage
  
• Thoroughly familiar with MS Office, especially Excel und SAP
  
• Analytical way of thinking
  
• Distinct problem-solving behaviour
  
• Team-orientation and intercultural skills
