Engineer Fatigue & Damage Tolerance for A330/A340 (m/f) 

Our Business Unit Aerospace at our location in Bremen is experiencing a sustainable and steady growth in the area of Aero-Structures. F&DT is a strategic area and Assystem is investing in supporting the growth of the team and its engineers. Comprehensive, ambitious and reliable development plans are prepared for each of them.
The job involves the analysis of composite and metallic aircraft structure using the standard FEA (Finite Element Analysis) calculation to assess design solutions using standard hand and computer methods to develop design solutions within the project teams.

Your tasks

• Responsibility over relevant F&DT (Fatigue and Damage Tolerance) tasks and guarantee of the deliverables according to project specification.
  
• Assessing and developing design solutions using standard hand and computer methods
  
• Preparation and performance of structural tests and analysis of the results
  
• Compliance with customers and airworthiness authorities F&DT requirements

Your profile

• Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification
  
• Proven experience in F&DT or relevant stress background, as Assystem will provide F&DT specific trainings to develop the required competences level
  
• Experience in the aerospace industry/ aircraft structure development
  
• Experience with the relevant static and F&DT tools (Nastran/Patran, ISSY, SAFE, DAMTOL)
  
• Fluent English (German not mandatory)
