To bolster our global IT development activities at the earliest opportunity, we seek for our Headquarter based in Munich an Who will report directly to the Vice President IT Solutions (HQ Munich).

You will be responsible for managing complex application development and client implementation projects. In this context you will perform cost/benefit analyses, define and specify requirements, develop full-scale project plans, allocate resources and provide support to the project team, always ensuring the timely and within-budget completion of your projects. You will facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, provide updates on the project progress, build consensus among decision-makers and, last but not least, guide and inspire the people working with you, focusing on the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables
• Perform business analyses and specify requirements
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop full-scale project plans
• Allocate and coordinate project staff and manage project budget
• Set and adhere to project milestones and timelines
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide direction, support and inspiration to the project team
• Manage the quality assurance and change processes for the project
• Monitor the progress of the project and report to all stakeholders

The successful candidate will have a university degree in a Master of Science program or a comparable education and an additional qualification in project management. Absolutely mandatory is a documented minimum of 5 years of successful working experience as a project or development manager for software development projects, especially with web applications / SaaS solutions. Proven experience in people, risk and change management is also absolutely vital. Furthermore we expect a deeper knowledge of LAMP and .NET stacks and architectures for application development as well as the proficient use of project management software. The complexity of the task requires the power to convince across organizations and cultural boundaries as well as superior communication and relationship management skills, combined with result orientation, assertiveness and resilience. Besides high motivation, the position requires a confident and experienced use of MS Office applications, an independent and well-organized working style as well as the ability to lead teams. Excellent verbal and written English is a must-have, German is beneficial but optional.
