Development Engineer (m/f)

Your responsibilities:
You are responsible for conducting, interpreting and analyzing tests in research and development projects in the area of electrodeposited wear resistant coatings. You plan and work tests on process chemistry, develop formulations, determine process parameters and document the results. You are also responsible for the technical documentation as well as the support of the product testing and introduction at the customer site. Moreover, your area of responsibility also entails cooperating in internal and external training measures and providing support in engineering applications.

Professional and Personal Requirements:
You hold an university degree in engineering, chemistry, surface engineering or vocational training as an electroplating technician with several years of experience in the field of functional surface coating or a comparable qualification. Furthermore, you have indepth knowledge of surface engineering, especially in the areas of functional processes. Sound knowledge of German and English, both written and oral, as well as experience in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required. You have an independent working style, analytical thinking skills, team spirit, a sense of dedication and a keen interest in research and development. You should be willing to travel domestically and abroad.
